Data Governance/Data Management Lead

Exciting work you will do:
  • Facilitate and perform current state gap analysis for existing data governance templates, tools, and processes
  • Assist in the roadmap development and adoption for foundational capabilities for Data Governance
  • Partner with client sponsor in driving data management process best practices for in-flight business projects
  • Provide guidance and support the development of data management templates for defining and capturing business terms, business rules and technical requirements
  • Provide guidance and support the development of data quality dimension requirements and data quality requirements check list
  • Helps to identify and escalates risks and issues to DM team leadership
  • Partner with Change Management resources to build collateral and execute engagement plan with client team
  • Work with Project manager to assemble and delivers regular status reporting, provides tactical and operational guidance and issue resolution

What you will need:
  • 5+ years leading a Data Governance design and implementation program
  • Experience designing and rolling out Data Governance templates and processes in collaboration with Business and technical partners
  • Strong consulting and interpersonal skills; able to interface with all levels of the organization and tailor communication appropriately
  • Experience with guiding and enabling data governance committee members (DG leads, Data Owners, Stewards, custodians, etc) on roles and responsibilities)
  • Served as a Trusted Advisor on any major technology/data program
  • Excellent communicator, negotiator and collaborator with various business stakeholders driving towards consensus
  • Experience with data governance and data management in a banking/financial services environment is preferred
  • Familiarity with Informatica's IDQ, MDM, AXON, EDC is a plus
