Our client is looking for an experienced
DevOps Lead on a hybrid 12 months renewable opportunity in Denver, CO.Onsite position(at the moment it is hybrid – 3 days in the office, 2 days from home)Position – DevOps LeadThe DevOps Lead will be responsible to be part of the DevOps team to drive implementation of fully automated multiple CI/CD pipelines for over 100 services. Each pipeline should deliver code from Development to Production with a press of a button going through Integration Test, Staging and other environments. The DevOps lead will also interact with key stakeholders to understand requirements, set expectations and collaborate with them to deliver the CI/CD pipelines. He/she should have worked in the Agile environment to plan and deliver the pipelines in iterative and incremental fashion. He/she is expected perform various CI/CD activities that include but are not limited to the following.- The person should have following qualifications and skills to perform this job
- Qualifications - should have an under-graduate and/or graduate degree with a GPA of 3.5 or above in Computer Science or one of the related areas.
- Work Experience – should have at least 5 years of experience in leading DevOps projects that delivered fully automated multiple end-2-end CI/CD pipelines.
- DevOps Technical Skills – should be proficient in DevOps work including development and automation of CI/CD pipelines using a variety of DevOps tools. Should be able to provide technical leadership to other members of the team in various ways such as (a) clarifying requirements, (b) resolving technical issues/blockers, (c) reviewing their code and (d) supporting them to complete their piece of work.
- DevOps Tools – should have experience with DevOps tools such as but not limited to –Kubernetes, Git, Helm, Docker, Argo, Bitbucket, STH Test, Gitlab and Jenkins.
- Agile - should be able to develop and execute an Agile plan to deliver value in an iterative and incremental manner.
- Communication/Soft Skills – should possess the soft skills necessary to deliver projects such as problem solving (including root cause analysis), ensuring efficient communication with stakeholders and the team, negotiating, and motivating the team.
- Self-starter - should be able to take initiative and perform his/her job fairly independently. He/she should not require any kind of monitoring from his manager or senior leadership.
- English language skills - should have good written and verbal English language skills
