Title: Full Stack .Net Developer (.Net/Azure/Angular)Location: Denver, COType: Direct HireOverview of the role:As a Full Stack Investments Tech Cloud Developer within the Technology Delivery Development team, you will be based in the Research Product Area as part of a development team responsible for an entirely new, greenfield Azure/Angular-based Research and Coverage platform. You will deliver ongoing change and new features to this suite of critical modules utilized by the multiple investment teams globally covering Equity, Fixed Income, Alternatives, ETF/ETN, and other investment solutions.This is a hands-on technical role and you will be expected to take ownership of key projects from design to delivery and to contribute to the overall architecture and development team practices. You will have an attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and competency in all layers of development with a drive and fire to succeed and implement optimal solutions.As a Full Stack Investments Tech Cloud Developer, you will have the support for ongoing learning and development from other senior-level team members through code reviews, peer programming, and knowledge sharing sessions.It is important in this role that you can communicate and collaborate effectively across all areas of technology and with our business partners globally. Duties and responsibilities:You will:
- Work closely with the Product Owner within the Research Product Area and the Technology Delivery Development Manager to understand development priorities
- Provide input into project timelines, estimations, and roadmaps
- Performs hands-on development, adhering to the SDLC framework and best practices
- Be an aspiring, proactive personality who can take it upon themselves to work with others and come up with the ideal solutions rather than wait to be told what to do
- Prepares and conducts unit and integration testing based on defined standards
- Ensures that code meets stated requirements and standards for accessibility, security, object-oriented best practices and performance
- Effectively function, and clearly and accurately communicate within a software development team consisting of other full stack developers, quality assurance developers, and business analysts
- 5+ years experience and excellent knowledge of C# and .Net Core
- 3+ years experience and excellent knowledge of Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, CLI
- 3+ years experience developing RESTful APIs using Web API 2.0, either on-premise or in Azure
- 3+ years experience and excellent knowledge of Azure; Function Apps, Cosmos/SQL, Service Bus, SSO, DevOps
- 3+ years experience in UI/UX design and translating those designs to code
- 3+ years experience and excellent knowledge in SQL and Query Optimization
- 1+ years experience in Azure DevOps (ADO) repositories, pipelines, and release management
- 1+ years experience working in an Agile setting with either Scrum or Kanban
- 1+ years experience in unit testing against C# and Angular, E2E, Jest/Jasmine/Cypress
- Strong knowledge in Object Oriented Analysis, Design and Programming, MVC, MVVM
- Sound understanding of OOP and SOLID principles, code patterns
- Experience in Terraform, IaC beneficial
- Databricks and Python development experience beneficial
- Investment Management experience beneficial
- Demonstrable ability to design and deliver complex systems at scale
- Experience of working with geographically disperse development teams
- Degree educated in mathematics or scientific/engineering discipline
