Grid AnalystDenver, COSystem One is currently seeking a Grid Analyst on a 12-month contract position located in Denver, CO.Grid Analyst Responsibilities:Grid Analysts will be supporting ADMS project activities - ADMS is a critical software tool for the AGIS project

ADMS improves service reliability for our customers and enhances the capabilities available to engineering staff and Control Center Operators by enhancing the ability to monitor and control the grid, which includes customer benefits such as improved restoration times for outages and a reduction in the number of customers impacted when outages occur

Will assist with Daily Model Promotion, QA/QC of vendor work, and Substation Display validation, allowing the current Grid Analyst Team to focus on standing up ADMS in SPS, building substation operational displays in SPS, expanding the feeder and substation footprint in multiple OpCos, building custom displays for new OpCos coming online, granting SCADA control to solar gardens and supervisory devices, and supporting the Wildfire Mitigation Program

These positions are Project Support Contract Workers on the ADMS Project

Creates, updates and revises sketches, working drawings and contract documents using Computer Assisted Design (CAD) software or manual means of drafting to meet customer requirements

Prepares 2D and 3D models

Must be able to read and comprehend detailed customer requirements, data sheets and supplier specifications

Assignments will be completed utilizing information provided by project engineering, architectural, or technical services staff under the direction of a supervisor

Requires familiarity with drafting techniques and engineering concepts and terminology

Able to read engineering drawing and blueprints

Prepares documentation to support design drawings

Prepare bills of material, schedules, and assist engineering personnel with formal drawing transmittals and construction issues

Deskbound, working in GIS, ADMS, and other databases, Geospatial and otherwise

Grid Analyst Requirements:High School Diploma or GED

Remote position, and may be completely remote, depending on circumstances

GIS Experience - Experience with doing GIS work in the relevant space and experience modeling substations in a GIS like system (substations, SCADA, electric distribution)

SCADA Experience

Team culture - Provide a background on the department and team; Highly collaborative team, lots of project work and learning on the job, must be able to thrive in chaos and be somewhat self-directed

Lots of communication and collaboration within the Grid Analyst team and with other teams working on the project
