Key Responsibilities: This position will support the technical daily operations and project tracking for the global Technology team, with a primary focus on the HR and Payroll systems. This will involve transport release management, support for ongoing projects and project updates, and Tier 1 support responses. These activities will include the management of transport tickets through established ticketing systems, first response for issues and incidents ticket, and support of projects with requirements gathering, scripted test scenarios and communications with internal and external parties.
- Provides end-user support for access issues, application errors and data problems. Support research and testing for fixes.
- Coordinate and facilitate incident and issue ticketing, and release management for technology change requests
- Establish and maintain a trusted working partnership with business contacts, IT departments, and vendors
- Prepare status reports and presentations for various types of audiences and levels of management as required
- Assist with project activity for requirements, testing and documentation
- Bachelors degree in Business, Computer Science or a related field preferred or a combination of technical training and will be experience considered
- 1-2 years in a business environment
- Demonstrated ability to perform in a busy environment with monthly cyclical processes
- Practiced skills in documenting and tracking customer issues through resolution
- Proficient in preparing and validating reports, using standard reporting tools
- Strong knowledge of MS Office products
- Working knowledge and experience with computers or systems
- Demonstrated experience with service desk procedures
- System testing and documentation experience
- Analytical ability for business process or system configuration issues
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills and interpersonal skills required to collaborate with management and staff as well as outside vendors, contractors, and consultants
- Demonstrable ability to prioritize multiple assignments, priorities, and tasks in a fast-pace environment
- High attention to detail and organizational skills, with a high level of accuracy
