The Global Information Security organization is responsible for protecting bank information systems, confidential and proprietary data, and customer information. The team:
  • Develops the bank's Information security strategy and policy
  • Manages the Information security program and identifies and addresses vulnerabilities
  • Develops, deploys and manages a risk-based controls portfolio
  • Manages and operates a global security operations center that monitors, detects and responds to cybersecurity incidents

The Cyber Security Defense (CSD) function within Global Information Security is responsible for all aspects of threat intelligence and monitoring, application and network security, and insider threat. In addition, the CSD team drives out the enterprise-wide cyber exercise program.

Global Information Security (GIS) is responsible for protecting bank information systems, confidential and proprietary data, and customer information. GIS develops the bank's Information Security strategy and policy, manages the Information Security program, identifies and addresses vulnerabilities and operates a global security operations center that monitors, detects and responds to cybersecurity incidents.

Role Description:This is a senior executive role within Global Information Security's (GIS) Cyber Security Operations (CSO) organization. Reporting to the head of CSO you'll be tasked with owning the identity and access strategy and leading a team of about 200 individuals responsible for protecting the bank against inappropriate access to our data and systems. The right candidate will think about Identity & Access in new and different ways to provide cutting edge ideas to evolve our controls.

Key Responsibilities:• Owns the IAM Standard and is responsible for defining strategy, technical roadmaps, and running technology and access provisioning operations.• Responsible for the Identity Defense strategy, inclusive of relevant technology initiatives which impact authentication and user experience changes.• Drives innovation to enhance controls and detections to protect corporate account credentials from compromise through authentication technology enhancements, increased monitoring, and end user education• Maintains strong operating controls and strict adherence to security, risk, compliance, policies, and management routines.

Role Qualifications:• Deep understanding of identity and access management and minimum 10 years experience in the space• Deep knowledge and understanding of the protocols, technologies and tools used to manage and enforce the IAM landscape• Previous experience managing and responding to Audit and Compliance directives• Experience leading large teams of geographically distributed staff• Ability to lead across multiple lines of business to orchestrate cohesive risk & controls oversight and process management.• Ability to integrate mature legacy processes and systems into new and emerging technologies• Ability to work in a high-pressure fast-paced environment

Enterprise Job Description: Responsible for providing information security expertise and strong business acumen to executive-level stakeholders. Executes decision making authority and establishes vision and direction for the organization. Partners with line of business executives, key stakeholders, vendors and/or external parties to inform security risk-based decisions. Ensures teams and partners are executing Secure by Design efforts effectively and efficiently. Typically has over 10 years of relevant experience including managing large teams, perhaps globally.
