POSITION

SUMMARY

As our IT Systems Specialist, you will be the first line of support for desktop support requests in the Denver office. You will work with the rest of the IT Team to provide outstanding customer service to the company. This includes technical support for Alterra Mountain Company’s employees including installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktop software and hardware for personal computing devices. This position will serve as an interface between corporate team members and the technology department. Additionally, you will have extensive interaction with Alterra Mountain Company’s executive leadership team and be a first responder to Audio/Video issues that occur in the Denver office conference rooms.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

General Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality end-user support and customer service to RiNo office employees.
  • Support, repair, configure, and upgrade Windows and Mac desktop and laptop workstations.
  • Triage helpdesk tickets quickly and accurately with detailed notes
  • Support a variety of Windows and Mac applications
  • Troubleshoot A/V equipment and assist users with meeting technology setup and configuration.
  • Work with operations, systems, and network teams as appropriate to determine and resolve problems received from customers – serve as boots on the ground.
  • Provide basic support and troubleshooting of Ricoh copying, scanning, and printing technologies.
  • Move and re-configure hardware to accommodate personnel changes and needs.
  • Provide a seamless onboarding process by ensuring that all IT hardware is deployed and configured for new hires before their arrival.
  • Maintains a detailed inventory for all corporate IT assets and ensures proper technical inventory levels are kept and alerts proper team members of low inventories.
  • Update and upkeep of IT Department documentation
  • Provide support and troubleshooting of audio and video equipment in conference rooms.
  • Provide VIP technical support for Alterra Mountain Company’s executive leadership team.
  • Mobile device and VOIP phone support
  • Other duties as assigned.

COMPETENCIES & JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Exemplary customer service and communication skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience managing Windows PC and Mac laptop and desktop computers in an enterprise Active Directory domain environment, including system deployment/imaging and specifically SCCM/OSD
  • Functional knowledge and experience managing Active Directory users, computers, and security groups.

  • Some knowledge of network infrastructure concepts including enterprise WiFi, wired/ethernet switching and cabling, IP addressing.

  • Functional understanding of Microsoft Office suite including Enterprise Apps deployments, Office365 integration with OneDrive, SharePoint Online, and Teams.
  • Experience with enterprise video conferencing specifically based on Microsoft Teams, including room systems such as Logitech Tap

  • Experience with computer room / data center racking, cabling, power, and basic device troubleshooting

  • Proficient in communicating technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Penchant for problem solving, persistence, and creativity in finding solutions to difficult issue

  • 2-year degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience

The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Alterra Mtn Co Shared Services Inc. hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Alterra Mtn Co Shared Services Inc.’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives and many region-specific benefits.

Denver area base hourly pay range: $21.63 - $32.69 per hour
