The Jr. Salesforce Developer will be an integral member of the Salesforce development team. This position will be responsible for implementation of application design, development, and support for Salesforce projects. The Jr. Salesforce Developer position will work closely with functional business leaders, organizational units, and subject matter experts in developing solutions on the Salesforce platform. This position will be responsible for managing the release/deployment of the PCM Salesforce Platform through SFDX which includes creating rollback plans, automating processes, making Salesforce Apex code changes, and developing a roadmap for the environments.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or related field
  • 1-2 years previous development experience with Salesforce.com (Certified Salesforce Platform Developer I preferred)
  • Lightning Components, Aura Components, Apex, Visualforce, Java, JavaScript, REST, SOAP experience
  • Experience writing test classes and test methods to ensure code coverage
  • Experience with SFDX required
  • Solid understanding of and detailed experience with Salesforce.com architecture and API
  • Detailed experience writing Visualforce and Apex classes and triggers
  • Software engineering skills with Force.com Platform
  • Working knowledge of GitHub
  • Experience integrating Salesforce.com with other applications via real-time, batch, sync/async
  • High energy and ability to work both independently and across multiple teams in fast paced environment
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and Jira
  • Strong organization, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot and mitigate complex customer, departmental and procedural issues resulting in sound solutions
  • Ability to lead and manage change through process development and improvement
  • Exceptionally collaborative, flexible and adaptable when working with customers and various teams
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator (preferred)

Essential Functions/Areas of Accountability

  • Oversee and control the proper placement and deployment of source code, ensure that each code is entered in the software code repository correctly
  • Develop custom applications and perform tests using Apex and Visualforce. Write, test, analyze and implement high-quality code according to specifications
  • Complete ownership of the Production environments, enforcement of policies created
  • Utilize best practices to perform operational support, enhancements, bug fixes as needed on the Salesforce.com platform
  • Follow all standard operating procedures and maintain updated ticketing for stories, bugs, etc.
  • Proactively engage in continuous improvement efforts for application design, support and practice development efforts.
  • Provide technical assistance and end user troubleshooting for bug fixes, enhancements and 'how-to' assistance.
  • Maintain SF environments and work streams, setup and maintain scratch orgs
  • Review and act on Salesforce Org Critical Updates.
  • Review, implement and propagate Salesforce Best Practices.
  • Develop custom applications using Salesforce.com and integrate salesforce.com with other systems.
For Colorado based applicants, the general range of pay is $73,000 - $109,500.The hiring pay would be based on years of experience and other market-based factors.
