The ideal candidate is an excellent writer and contracts project manager, who will be responsible for supporting the PCM TRIALS Business Development team in winning new business and expanding our market share via contract management and proposal development. The Clinical TRIALS Proposal and Contract Manager will be primarily responsible for managing, writing, and producing competitive proposals; and also assisting the Sr. Manager of Proposals and Contracts with managing the contracting process for PCM TRIALS.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g. journalism/marketing) is preferred.
  • Five or more years of related industry experience with a strong contract management and proposal portfolio; clinical research experience preferred.
  • Two or more years of contract project management experience.
  • Excellent contract negotiations skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization and with external parties.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills. Must have the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with management, peers, and external partners. Must display strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel 0-10%.
  • Location: Denver, Colorado

Essential Functions/Areas of Accountability
  • Intake legal requests from across PCM TRIALS, including business development, project management and vendor management.
  • Project manage completion of document development and review across all relevant teams (Legal, Quality, Compliance, Information Security, Operations, etc.)
  • Intake proposal requests from business development, such as requests for information, proposal, or quote (RFI, RFP, RFQ), etc. and project manage completion of proposals and questionnaires across all relevant teams.
  • Assemble proposals (e.g. in response to request for proposals), including:
  • Coordinating with various stakeholders to develop proposal responses.
  • Tracking deadlines for submitting proposals.
  • Owning overall quality of proposal responses; including overall responsiveness, accuracy, and editing and writing content to align to business style guidelines.
  • Maintaining a proposal library.
  • Following up as needed once proposal has been submitted to potential client.
  • Prepare sales-oriented executive summaries to include with budget estimates.
  • Continuously share recommendations for best practices and areas to improve upon.
  • Develop and improve business development tools, including template language and format.
  • Deliver timely, impactful work products in alignment with business development strategies and goals.
  • Participate in Company or Sponsor-required training programs.
  • Perform necessary administrative functions (e.g., tracking of expense reports, time, and attendance).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Travel, as needed.

For Colorado based applicants, the general range of pay is $73,000 - $109,500.The hiring pay would be based on years of experience and other market-based factors.
