Material Data Coordinator in Remote (Partial onsite If necessary to Watkins, Colorado)Title: Material Master Data CoordinatorClient: Utility ClientDuration: 3 month contract with extensions likely and FTE possibleLocation: Remote (Partial onsite If necessary to Watkins, Colorado)Start Date: ASAPDescription:Working on tasks that come through their internal ticketing system.Responsibilities –Material Master Data - They look after all of the governance and data standards - If someone needs to make changes to the master data (key information in the system such as the material records, material name, measurement, description of the material, the basic view, the MRP view of the material, cost change, or the reorder number point) they will go into SAP (Material Master Data Module) and make those changes.They will enter information that helps set up new material in the system and make adjustments/amendments to the material that was entered previously.Skills:- SAP experience - Material master data experience (module in SAP)
- Experience working with Excel and MS suite - will need to transform some of the data from excel to SAP
- Good communication skills
- Positive, independent person, will be remotely operating by themselves out of the North American region - self-starter, good collaboration and team work skills
- Attention to detail, master data jobs are repetitive and require a high level of accuracy, if you get something wrong, everything else will be wrong
- Make changes to materials already in the system as necessary
- Add new materials that are purchased
- Cleaning up the data
- Will receive request forms from material buyers (requestors/ the person that requests the change) - will need process the form within 3 day (SLA in place)
- Another team member in Santiago, Chile and he will be the mentor to this contractor
- Preferably from a manufacturing industry (plus) - another candidate from other industry is okay
- Any ticketing system experience (they will be using an internal ticketing system)
