Founded in 2002, they are a privately held company headquartered in Irvine, California, and serves clients globally from offices in the United States and India Key Responsibilities: The Director of Solutions will be responsible for the overall AWS practice health and growth for US services. This role requires deep expertise and a track record of client success in delivering solutions on the AWS platform, as well as the ability to communicate how these solutions drive business value.As a key enabler to regional market Directors of Client Solutions and Enterprise Client Executives, working in partnership to bring my client s services to market, the selected candidate will have a demonstrated ability to engage senior level technology decision makers in AWS Cloud Adoption roadmaps, AWS cloud native solutions architecture, and best practices on the AWS cloud platform.In this role you will shape the vision and execute on that vision focused on the AWS platform - helping drive value for our clients. This role shall also be responsible for AWS evangelism, cultivating an AWS community inside the organization, and driving outcomes to achieve AWS Partner Competencies. To be successful, one must exhibit strong leadership qualities necessary for building trust with clients and technologists. Specifically, you will partner with AWS Solution Architects to drive client success by providing practical guidance based on your years of experience working with the AWS platform. Further, you will collaborate with a diverse sales team to professionally represent my client s experience and ability to drive business results. In addition, you will assist in creating sales assets that clearly communicate my client s AWS capabilities to technical decision makers and delivery assets to help deliver impact to their clients.   • A verifiable experience in designing strategic roadmaps for cloud solutions, migrations, greenfield applications, and cloud native deployments for medium to large enterprises.
  • Consultative experience in defining cloud project technical milestones on and designing implementation resource cost models.
  • Demonstrate deep understanding of an enterprise cloud strategy and business value driven selection of cloud platform providers.
  • Experience leading large-scale projects involving, strategy development, and implementation.
  • Ability to lead technical teams, provide technical oversight, and be hands on when needed.
  • Ability to proactively engage in complex sales pursuits with sales team members.
  • Ability to develop a technology vision and communicate its value to clients and teammates.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s Degree in a relevant field of study: Computer Science, Management Information Systems, etc., or equivalent experience.
  • Possess at least one AWS Certification, and be willing to continuously pursue others to address specific business needs and AWS Competency requirements.
  • Intimate familiarity with the AWS Well Architected Framework
  • Familiarity with the AWS Cloud Adoption Framework
  • A clear understanding of the requirements for AWS Partner Competency Programs, and define initiatives to satisfy those requirements.
  • A high-level fluency and familiarity around of all AWS products and services.
  • Understanding of AWS best practices, design trends, new products and offerings on the AWS platform.
  • Able to cultivate a modern solution delivery culture that adopts principles of DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering.
  • Familiar with CI/CD and automation on the AWS platform
  • Familiar with the concepts of infrastructure as code, and implementing using AWS CloudFormation and the AWS CLI.
  • Able to organize and lead technical teams with standard processes (agile, scrum, Kanban, etc)
  • When appropriate as a leader, able to write or provide mentoring to write production level code, which is well-written and explainable
The salary range for this role in Colorado is $200,000 - $220,000. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as education, location, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the candidate, and alignment with market data.
