Network Engineer to support our client located in

Title: Network Engineer

Location: Denver, CO – Onsite

Duration/Type of Job: 12 Months

Qualifications:
  • MA or MS degree highly desirable, or equivalent IT and telecommunications experience.
  • 1-3 years applicable experience.
  • Knowledge of telecommunications network circuit design and/or fiber optic networks or other comparable networks.
  • Knowledge of edge compute, server hardware and software, Linux operating systems, Virtual Machines, Containers, and OSS.
  • Significant knowledge and experience of various telecom products (Juniper, Ciena, Accedian, Cisco, Fujitsu, ALU, Nokia, AirSpan, JMA, Dell) as well as design alternatives.
  • Working knowledge of IT networks, firewalls, security software, servers, Ubuntu virtualBox, Kubernetes, Anthos, AWS, Azure, cloud computing, and network monitoring
  • Thorough understanding of fiber networks, WAN, cloud compute and Ethernet network and associated electronics.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Salesforce, Microsoft and Word office products.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and provide technical direction to technical and non-technical personnel.
  • PC skills required to perform daily work activities.
  • Ability to work with a minimum of supervision and ability to be an integral member of a team.
