Major brand acquisitions occurred in January of 2010 making Coors Distributing Company one of the top 25 largest beer distributors in the country with over 30 suppliers, roughly 14 million cases per year, and nearly 400 employees.The Headlines:In the role of Point-of-Sale Warehouse Specialist in Denver, CO , you are responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Point-of-Sale Warehouse, including branded merchandise and POS used by sales reps and marketing team to promote beer sales for our suppliers. Daily duties include receiving deliveries, organization of point-of-sale material, inventory management, working with the marketing team and sales teams to plan and execute company initiatives.The Responsibilities:Responsible for setting standards, processes, and success measures for proper receiving, display and rotation of everyday, seasonal and program specific inventory items.
Coordinate and manage receiving of shipments.
Oversee the receiving of all Marketing Materials in CDC’s procurement system (Coupa).
Ensure that all Marketing Materials are displayed in an organized way that makes items easy to find and access.
Work with Marketing Services Manager and Director of Marketing to identify and plan for capital, equipment, and supply needs annually.
Prompt communication with Sales, Brand and Suppliers on all relevant Marketing Material matters including deliveries, opportunities, kit building, and inventory overage or shortage.
Always maintain a clean and organized environment with a safety-first mentality
Abide by all EHS standards and requirements
Work with Marketing Services Manager and maintenance team to ensure regular upkeep of equipment
Other duties as assigned
The Other Qualifications:High School diploma or GED required.
Experience in Warehouse, Retail Operations, or Merchandising required
High level of ethics and personal accountability
Prompt and clear verbal and written communication skills are required.
Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
Ability to meet deadlines
