Job Description
As the Pricing Specialist, you will assist in pricing strategy execution for a billion-dollar software company that continues to have incredible growth! You will report to the Director of Pricing Strategy within the Product and Solutions Marketing organization. This position has great visibility across the organization with considerable growth potential. If you are passionate about, or eager to learn about, pricing, packaging, pricing strategy, licensing, licensing policy this may be the perfect role for you!
As the Pricing Specialist, you will be primarily responsible in helping others, internally and externally, better understand Veeam's pricing and packaging across the entire Veeam portfolio. You will also be responsible to collaborate with Pricing Operations, Sales Operations, Sales, Renewals, Product Marketing, and Channel teams to ensure pricing and licensing updates are effectively instructed and implemented. Other responsibilities include documentation and assisting in financial modeling.
Qualifications
- BS in a business major or equivalent
- MS Excel proficiency with mathematical excellence
- MS PowerPoint proficiency with graphics and presentation excellence
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Familiarity with software pricing, packaging, and licensing
- Experience collaborating with Order Processing, Sales Ops, and Channel
- Data grabbing, data modeling, and data analyzing experience
- Salesforce experience
- Familiarity with Backup & Recovery software
