Seeking PLS in Denver for Growing National Top Player!

  • Plans, organizes and directs work of one or more survey parties
  • Researches previous survey evidence, maps, deeds, physical evidence, and other records to obtain data needed for surveys
  • Ensures our Field and Data Standards are adhered to on all projects
  • Keeps accurate notes, records, and sketches to describe and certify work performed
  • Provides our project team and clients with frequent progress reports and cost analysis
  • Work in tandem with the Survey Manager in business development and day to day operations

Experience Required:

  • Active Professional Land Survey (PLS) License in Colorado
  • 5 years or more experience
  • Strong written, oral and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in diverse markets (Oil & Gas, Transportation, Utilities, Government, etc).
The Professional Land Surveyor should possess the skills, experience, and knowledge to support LW Survey's Land Surveying Services. This position reports directly to the Senior Survey Project Manager or Director of Survey Operations and will assist other positions as needed. The purpose of this position is to plan, organize and direct work of one or more survey parties engaged in LW Survey's Land Surveying Services.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plans, organizes and directs work of one or more survey parties engaged in LW Survey's Land Surveying Services
  • Researches previous survey evidence, maps, deeds, physical evidence, and other records to obtain data needed for surveys
  • Ensures LW Survey's Field and Data Standards are adhered to on all projects
  • Keeps accurate notes, records, and sketches to describe and certify work performed
  • Provides LW Survey's project team and clients with frequent progress reports and cost analysis
  • Assist LW Survey's Survey Manager in business development and day to day operations

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Active Professional Land Survey (PLS) License in the state the work is to be performed
  • 5 years or more experience
  • Strong written, oral and interpersonal skills
  • Experience on linear surveys particularly in the oil and gas industry is preferred
