- The primary ServiceNow modules of focus include:
- CSM / Agent Workspace
- Virtual Agent
- Chat and Engagement Messenger
- Knowledge
- Service Portal
- Performance analytics, metrics, and reporting
- Scheduling and calendar management
- Workforce optimization
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement features which serve a number of support-related departments.
- Assist with process automation via business rules, scripting, workflows, flow designer, approvals, and other common methods
- Provide knowledge on ServiceNow best practices
- The primary ServiceNow modules of focus include:
- API integration and Data Management
- Design and implement data interfaces with other enterprise application systems (both internally and externally)
- Monitor and ensure proper data handling for consistent and clean data
- Manage data ingestion from multiple API endpoints while collaborating with necessary teams when changes need to occur
- Development requests, bugs, and fixes
- Prioritize and triage incoming issues or bug requests while setting proper expectations with internal users submitting issues
- Create and perform QA testing for feature development prior to production rollout
- Assist with upgrades or feature rollouts and react appropriately when update issues occur
- Documentation
- Provide technical release notes during production rollouts of new features or fixes
- Work with appropriate teams to product knowledge and/or documentation for general distribution
- At least three (3) to five (5) years' experience in a similar role
- Working knowledge of Customer Service or Technical Support teams (understanding of MSP's or Outsourced IT organizations is very desirable)
- Experience managing multiple API connections handling data ingestion from both custom and 3rd party applications within the ServiceNow platform
- Experience developing, updating, and interpreting JavaScript on the ServiceNow platform
- Knowledge of ServiceNow database hierarchies and design
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills
- Proven experience as a System Administrator, Systems Integrator, or similar role
- Expertise developing, updating and interpreting Javascript, REST, HTML, CSS, Angular JS and JSON on the ServiceNow platform
- Desire to drive one's own education and stay up-to-date on new releases and features of ServiceNow
- Ability to be resourceful, with creative problem-solving and a can-do attitude
- Aptitude to approach complex and abstract problems and ability to determine multiple possible resolutions
