Responsibilities:Currently looking for multiple Sr. VMware Engineers that possesses an architectural vision and adept in VMware's SDDC portfolio and roadmap. This position requires strong VMware vRealize Automation (vRA), VMware NSX-T and VMware vRealize Orchestrator (vRO) experience that you will use to lead our team through the architecture, design and development of our virtualization environment and hybrid cloud offerings. This position offers the right Vmware Virtualization Engineer an opportunity to join an experienced Cloud Engineering team at a fast paced and growing company and help drive innovation and cloud adoption.This is a hands-on, highly technical position for a VMware expert who can dive deep, build highly-optimized architectures, and transition from legacy solutions while driving a long-term virtualization strategy with the operational teams. You will have breadth across technology stacks while leveraging a deep hands on skillset evaluating and recommending solutions in partnership with engineering and development teams throughout the organization. Technology focus will also involve both on premise and external cloud environments.

Responsibilities:Providing expert architectural and engineering support for current VMware solution.Research, identify and develop solution architectures from a VMware vSphere services and SDDC perspective that solve current business challenges.Execute on proof of concept and feasibility studies to validate next-gen product concepts and technologies leveraging results to guide business and technology decisions.Develop technical product roadmaps the virtualization environment.Designing, building and maintaining Software Defined Data Center (SDDC) and private cloud deployments using VMware technologies including NSX, vRA and vRO.Certify and document new technologies and software while introducing a means for product lifecycle management.Develop and enforce adherence to architectural standards/principles and design standards.Keep abreast of and gain expertise in the evolving technology and understand how new technologies could be applied to our Cloud offering.Serve as the VMware SME for our Pivotal Cloud Foundry environment.Engineering of vRA solutions and creating vCenter Orchestrator workflows.Developing workflows for VM provisioning using vRO.Creating/maintaining vRA blueprints and catalogues with integration of NSX and vROFunction as the technical lead for the SDDC VMware components of the solutionProvide architectural guidance and oversight into integration of VMware products with third party products.Define and promote the adoption of best practices of VMware products for the operational community.Ownership and authoring of design documents, collaborating with other Engineering teams, presenting to senior management, mentoring and knowledge transfer to team members across the organization

Requirements:Solid understanding of the end-to-end information technology (IT) process, including architecture, design & engineering, implementation, and operations.Strong technical depth in Networking & Security in addition to general knowledge of Data Center and/or Cloud Management & AutomationExperience in Security Micro-segmentation design and implementation is highly desirableExperience with NSX (Software Defined VMWare software), vRealize, vSAN & VRO.Experience managing, designing and deploying infrastructure and systems in a datacenter environment.Minimum of 8 years of infrastructure architecture experience with significant depth around designing, implementing, and leading critical cross-functional integration projects in enterprise datacenters.Prior experience with cloud solutions: Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a plus.Excellent business and technical writing skills as well as a talent for conveying technical information to both a technical and non-technical audience.Work independently and as a member of a team of architects on engagements in a technical leadership role.Proven experience designing enterprise VMware Cloud environmentsStrong scripting skills (Python, Perl, or other)Experience with infrastructure automation (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, SALT, etc.)
