The Colorado Pig Rig Food Truck & Catering Company is hiring for 2019 Season. Join one of Denver's busiest food trucks and serve delicious, inspired food all over Colorado. We are looking for two solid, driven, self-motivated employees to add to our team. I have one full-time truck manager/sous chef position available who will work alongside me on prep days and manage the truck out in the field. We are also looking for one food truck operator who will assist with service out in the field.
REQUIREMENTS:
-Applicants must be 21 years of age or older (due to vehicle insurance requirements)
-Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record (NO DUIs) and reliable transportation
-Both full-time 40-60+ hrs & part-time 15-30 hrs available - Must be available to work weekends and holidays
-Experience on the line in a high stress, fast-paced environment or experience in the FOH necessary
-Looking to hire immediately
PREFERENCES:
-Prior catering experience (90% of our business is private food truck catering and/or event-based)
-Prior experience driving with large trucks (Our truck is 28 feet long)
-Prior experience in customer service, expo, and front of the house friendliness :-)
EXPECTATIONS:
-Must be Punctual & Reliable. No exceptions.
-Participate in prep shifts at our kitchen location (North Denver), where all food is prepared.
-Employees will be expected to take initiative, be pro-active and follow direction in a fast-paced
environment while serving the public with a smile! We want you to have fun with our customers and be flexible based on their needs. We want to provide the same positive experience for our clientele whether it's a music festival, private wedding or corporate lunch. This is very important!
-Employees stock truck at the kitchen location, drive to events, cook on-board the truck, serve customers, drive back, unload, clean and HAVE FUN!
-Employees participate in weekly cleaning and servicing of the food truck.
-Employees must have a clean cut appearance. We service various major corporations as well as private weddings and private in-home parties that require us to have a professional appearance both on and off the truck!
COMPENSATION:
Pay starts at $15/hr + Tips with opportunity for advancement.
All Employees will be compensated under a 1099 contract for hire.
