We are seeking a professional and reliable Warehouse Clerk to join our team at Occasions Catering. As a Warehouse Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of our warehouse. You will be responsible for a range of tasks, including pulling equipment for events, inventory control, assisting with back of house as needed, and driving truck to events when situation calls while maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively and independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments of goods
Verify and maintain accurate inventory records
Conduct regular inventory audits to identify and resolve discrepancies
Organize and maintain warehouse space
Collaborate with other team members to fulfill event orders
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role, some catering preferred
Using inventory management software
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to lift heavy objects and operate vehicles and machinery safely
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
