I am hiring for a weekend aid to help care for myself, and my family including my 2-year-old son. Hours are Saturday and Sunday 6am-4pm Saturday and Sunday 6am-6pm. Three evening shifts are also open 4:30-7:30 Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. I would prefer to fill both shifts with one person but feel free to apply if only interested in one vs. the other. Pay is 16.00-17.00 per hour depending on experience and raises given annually. Some duties include,
Toileting,
Showering,
Helping with meals,
Walking the dog,
Pet care,
Going on walks to the park, and Cherry Creek Trail,
Deep, and light house cleaning,
and Family care duties could mean more than individual caregiving. For example, helping drive my son to a Park helping with driving to family appointments, cooking for more than one person.
I use an electric wheelchair and have a ceiling transferring aid. There is no need to lift but I do require that my aids be able to lift up to 75lbs as it does take strength to dress and roll in bed to place transfer sling on. The person must be able to multi-task, and be comfortable with child care, and pets including both cats, and dogs. Must be 18 to apply, and no domestic violence. This is not a cash job and checks are bi-weekly. No training or certificate necessary but will adjust rate dependent on experience.
On weekends we are very active and we hope to hire an aid who has similar interests such as swimming, being outdoors, and mountain trips. Reliability, and being on time to scheduled shift is an essential part of the job. Please text message 720-862-6504 if interested.
