- Interact with central business and facility end users to gather data and reporting requirements.Accountable for documented requirements and functional specifications
- Develop and maintain committed dates, milestones and deliverables
- Manage change control process, managing scope within project constraints
- Status reporting
- Facilitate application design sessions and work with development team during development phase
- Coordinate with QA and ensure user acceptance testing
- Oversee delivery team activities
- Assist with system implementation and rollout user documentation and training production support
- Immediate communication circle will be with the Principal and Senior Data Scientists, Data Engineers, plus a handful of Business Analysts and Project Managers
- Second ring of communication would be with SME's and others, depending upon the situation
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Master's Degree is highly preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working on BI focused projects
- Needs to have relational database knowledge: not so much the ability to write SQL queries to query data, but more about the person's ability to translate the findings
- Needs to have the ability to go into a data warehouse, translate findings of the Data Engineer, understand how tables are structured, bridge the gap between the data engineer and BA's, and be able to document it accurately and appropriately.
- Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid Agile approaches
- Extensive knowledge on critical thinking: vetting and understanding what the business is asking for and understanding when and how far to probe to capture the true requirement
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical lingo
- Familiarity with relational databases, and data management
- Ability to interpret SQL queries, understand data quality, and help to create data dictionary as they create data sets for Artificial Intelligence model training
- Ability to take knowledge from a technical person and relay it back to the business, and vice versa
- Must have effective, articulate and concise communication skills with proper grammar and great interpersonal skills
- Applied experience understanding implementing business processes
- Superb Critical Thinking Skills
- Passionate about documentation and storytelling
- Analysis/Documentation experience
- Knowledge in Business Process Reengineering and Business Process Improvement
- Experience with SharePoint is preferred
- SQL experience is an added plus
- HTML is important, but not mandatory
