Payroll Manager
Work Hours: 40 hours per week, as scheduled, Monday through Friday.
Weekly schedule may change as required. May be necessary to work holidays.
This position may work remotely from any of the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado or Texas.
We are a multi-billion dollar real estate and management firm, headquartered in Irvine, California. We are looking for a Payroll Manager to lead our payroll functions. You’ll work to ensure our payroll expenses and taxes are paid correctly and on time. You will supervise our payroll team and liaise with other professionals; calculate wages; prepare and process payments and maintain accurate payroll records. The Payroll Specialist will investigate and resolve payroll issues and ensure strict compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Essential Duties:
Collect payroll information for bi-weekly processing
Enter data into payroll and administrative databases and software programs
Calculate wages, benefits, tax deductions, commissions, etc.
Prepare and process bi-weekly payroll for all entities
Process ad hoc paycheck requests
Maintain accurate records of payroll documentation and transactions
Prepare and distribute annual income statements
Respond to payroll-related inquires and resolving concerns
Perform account balance and payroll reconciliations
Prepare financial reports for accounting and auditing purposes
Preparing periodic payroll reports
Performs any additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Payroll Administrator
Multi-state payroll experience
UltiPro Payroll (specifically Workforce Management & Core HR Payroll modules) experience
Business degree from an accredited college or university
