Leveling, adjusting surface irregularities, and preparing surfaces for paving. Performing other duties as assigned, including cleaning tools and equipment, and assisting other crew members.
An ASPHAL OPERATOR, also known as a paving machine operator, is responsible for operating and maintaining equipment used to spread and level asphalt on roads, parking lots, and other surfaces, ensuring proper grade, compaction, and quality according to specifications. This includes operating pavers, screeds, and rollers, ensuring they are used safely and effectively to spread and level asphalt. Performing routine maintenance, cleaning, and inspecting equipment for any issues or needed repairs, and reporting any problems to a supervisor. Adhering to project plans, specifications, and quality control standards for asphalt paving.
SEALCOAT LABORER Assist in preparing asphalt surfaces for sealing, including cleaning, taping, and edging. Apply sealcoat evenly using hand tools and spray equipment.
