Kavod Senior Life is currently seeking 2 Full-Time Temporary Facilities Technicians to join our team! If you're looking for work where you can make a difference and be a part of a great team this may be the position for you.

Schedule Option 1: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm, rotating on-call Saturdays, overtime as needed

Schedule Option 2: Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:30pm, rotating on-call Saturdays, overtime as needed

Job Summary: Performs routine maintenance that is essential to the appearance and continued upkeep of the property and assigned areas under the direction of the Director of Facilities.

Job Requirements: Two years of hands-on experience in building maintenance preferred, painting, grounds work, plumbing, electric, HVAC and apartment make-ready. Use of hand tools required for job assignments. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and professionally with coworkers, residents, and vendors in a diverse and inclusive environment.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands/fingers to feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. Frequent stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Occasional sit, climb or balance, talk or hear, and taste or smell. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
