We are a unique 3rd generation family owned general contracting- architectural design firm that have been in business for 57 years. We strive to do as much of the work in house as possible including the design and engineering of our projects. We are full residential and light commercial contractors. We offer plenty of opportunities for advancement into management, estimating, sales, and design.
We are currently taking applications for what will be an insanely busy season this year to expand our current teams. We are already fully booked for work for the entire 2019 year.
All of our work is on the West metro end and into the foothills. Golden, Northern Littleton, Lakewood, Arvada, Weatridge, Evergreen, Conifer, Westminster, Superior, Louisville, and the foothills. Living on the West end is ideal otherwise the commute can be a hassle.
Every year between the months of April and May, we take applications into our apprenticeship program. To be considered into this program you must be a dedicated, hard worker, willing to learn multiple trades and wanting to be a permanent part of our company. You have to be someone who has always enjoyed and desired a career working with your hands. You need no prior experience to enter into this program but you will be required to invest into your new career with tools and equipment as the program progresses. Starting pay for this program is $12 an hour.
We are also taking applications for a general labor position for someone with carpentry experience (Rough framing and finish carpentry). The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years carpentry experience and have all carpentry tools, saws, compressors, nailers. etc. The ability to read blue prints is a plus. This candidate will also want to become a permanent part of our company and willing to learn other trades as well. The starting pay for this position is $15-$25 and hour depending on tools and experience. Note this is STARTING pay we are willing to pay more if you are worth more after a 30 day probationary period.
All candidates will need:
A reliable work vehicle. (A full size work truck that can haul materials and tools will get you further along the promotion road to success in this industry than not having one).
A valid current drivers license.
OHSA approved steel toed work boots. (Additional PPE may be provided by the company).
To be able to lift 100 pounds.
A good work ethic and good attendance record.
To be able to climb on ladders and scaffolds.
To be professional in appearance and attitude.
Proper tools for the position you are applying for.
We are NOT looking for independent contractors, looking for fill in work, or job supervisors. Supervisors and team leaders are promoted from within.
