About the Role

The Lead Generation Specialist reports to the Marketing Director and is responsible for researching, identifying, prospecting, and qualifying new sales leads to support the sales team. This individual is a highly motivated, creative self-starter able to identify and develop new business prospects from multiple sources including independent industry research, prospect lists, and inbound marketing leads.

Requirements

Previous customer service / sales experience is an asset but is not required

Extremely detailed oriented

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Quickly adapt to new tasks and goals

Demonstrated ability to achieve in highly competitive market

Knowledge of social media

Friendly, can-do attitude

Professional demeanor and ability to make a great impression on the first call

Responsibilities

Identify prospective clients through resources provided and independent research

Capture information regarding leads as well as facilitate lead flow to others in the area

Prepare and manage all prospecting lists

Follow up, qualify, and nurture inbound requests from multiple sources including sales quotes, sales questions, marketing campaigns, web leads, and chats.

Updating client information records

Following up on marketing leads from targeted campaigns

Consistently meeting your weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals

Successfully transition opportunities to other members of the sales team

Assist sales team where required

You'll spend 90% of your time on the phone communicating with potential clients
