Position Description:
The P/T CSSR is responsible for sales and customer service of insurance products to existing and new clients. A P/T CSSR supports the agency by handling the details of lead generation and administrative tasks related to insurance sales. Our successful candidate is a team-player with basic sales and customer service experience; excellent phone and face-to-face communication; a penchant for detail and organization; and a knack for multi-tasking, juggling priorities and problem-solving.

Job Responsibilities and Activities:
Actively develop appointments from existing and new data bases
Underwrite, rate and properly place new lines of business
Maintain timely and accurate client records, keep all reports up to date as required by supervisor or other agency staff
Handle inbound and initiate outbound communications via telephone calls / emails & texts to new and existing clients
Basic administrative duties filing, data input, answer incoming calls, ¦
Other related activities as assigned
Skills, Experience & Other Requirements:
Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, able to maintain a disciplined daily calendar and task list in a multi-tasking environment.
Must be bondable and have clean driving record, background check required
Competency with computers and office equipment, familiarity with MS-Office and Internet
Insurance License a plus but not required, will help qualified candidate with licensing
Must enjoy phone and face-to-face communication with people
Compensation
Compensation is comprised of a competitive hourly wage, plus bonuses and commissions.
