mpowered is a Colorado-based nonprofit focused on creating Financial Security for All. To help us achieve our mission, we are seeking an outstanding Bilingual Spanish Personal Finance Coach to provide high-quality, one-on-one financial coaching to low-to-moderate income individuals and families. Services will be provided at one or more mpowered integrated services site(s) within the Denver Metro Area. Qualities sought include:
Bilingual Spanish required
Professional, compassionate and empathetic
Active listener
Strong skills in asking powerful questions
Supports clients in developing their own solutions
Experience helping clients set appropriate goals, assessing progress, and supporting client motivation and goal achievement
Experience working in areas with high concentrations of poverty and financial distress
High attention to detail
Resourceful
Collaborative approach
Optimistic and encouraging
Passionate about our mission and client outcomes
Some knowledge of personal finance topics, services and tools preferred
Experience in social work, counseling, behavior analysis, life/career coaching, psychology, education, human services, public administration, community advocacy or related fields encouraged to apply
Compensation: mpowered offers a collegial, collaborative work environment with a business casual dress code for the office. Benefits include family-first culture; flexible work arrangements; generous PTO that includes your birthday off and five bonus PTO days every five years; three health insurance plans to choose from; dental insurance; and 401(k) with match. Starting base salary range is $40K - $43K.
