Supervisor: Worship Director
Purpose: To enhance public worship by providing beautiful music for the inspiration of worshipers and to the glory of God.
Hours: 3-5 hours per week
Starting Pay: $14-$16 per hour
Responsibilities:
Direct volunteer praise team (singers, drums, guitars, bass, etc.).
Select and play music selections that reflect Lutheran theological beliefs and contemporary liturgical worship practice
Recruit praise team members from congregation
Primary vocalist for contemporary worship services
Play lead or rhythm guitar for contemporary worship
Make recommendations regarding equipment purchases to Worship Director and Pastor
Additional rehearsals with soloists, ensembles, etc. (as assigned)
Other duties as assigned
