Wabi Cycles is a manufacturer of high-end steel fixed gear / single speed bikes that builds bikes to order in our shop in South Denver. We are looking for a part-time assembler - 16 to 24 hours per week - to help on our shop/warehouse in South Denver. This job could turn into full-time at some point (but it is not necessary).
Work would include prepping bicycle framesets for assembly, trueing wheels, assembling components and packaging orders. Hours are flexible for day time, evenings and weekends.
Required qualifications:
- 1 year of professional bicycle assembly or bicycle service experience.
- Attention to detail. These are high-end bikes that are shipped all over the world so getting things right is important.
- Ability to take direction and feedback. We build and pack our bikes in a certain way so need someone that is accommodating.
- Dependable yet flexible. We need commitment to the work yet flexible to the ebb and flow of a small business.
- Passionate about bikes - especially fixed gear or single speed.
