We are currently seeking a skilled Access Control Technician with extensive experience in access control systems. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of all aspects of access control technology, including the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of maglocks, strikes, and related hardware.
Key Responsibilities:
-Install, configure, and test access control systems, including but not limited to maglocks, strikes, and card readers.
-Diagnose and repair issues in existing access control systems to ensure seamless operation and security.
-Perform routine maintenance and system upgrades as needed to meet security standards.
-Collaborate with clients to customize access control solutions to meet unique requirements.
-Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and updates.
-Stay up-to-date on industry standards, safety protocols, and technology advancements in access control.
Qualifications:
-Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience with access control systems, particularly with maglocks, strikes, and other security hardware.
-Technical Knowledge: Proficiency with access control hardware and software, including wiring, programming, and troubleshooting.
-Certifications: Relevant industry certifications are preferred but not required.
Skills:
Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and safety.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks associated with installations.
This position will require traveling for technicians
