Job Description:

As a System/Data Security Analyst, you would be an individual contributor responsible for providing operational support to secure Bank's IBM I environments with the goal of eliminating risks in the environment. Proposes and leads forward thinking solutions; builds reusable secure-by-design frameworks (e.g., input validation, output encoding, logging, authorization). A risk-oriented perspective is required, along with the ability to support BAU processes, adopt processes and lead projects. You must be results-oriented, business focused, and successful at interfacing across multiple organizational units at various levels. The knowledge/experience/exposure with information security topics or governance of information security practices and solutions, will be very helpful in this role. You should be prepared to demonstrate your knowledge of risk identification and mitigation/project management skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in IBM I systems

• Working knowledge of IBM I infrastructure and related concepts

• Strong technical background and ability to learn new technologies quickly

• Provide technical expertise throughout the software lifecycle including design, testing, implementation and delivery.

• Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills with clear communication

• Ability to collaborate with different roles to achieve common goals

• Ability to think critically and question the status quo

• Understand how to identify software security vulnerabilities and recognize and communicate their associated impact to the business.

• Demonstrate awareness of secure software design principles such as least privilege, defense in depth, or designing secure user interfaces

• Experience with Audit processes, action planning, evidence tracking and interaction with risk partners

• Excellent time management skills / ability to prioritize tasks / efficient worker

• Ability to identify, analyze and address problems to resolve issues whenever possible in a way that minimizes negative impact and risk to the organization

• Ability to work independently on initiatives with little oversight. Motivated and willing to learn.

• Strong analytical skills / problem solving / conceptual thinking

• Ability to be comfortable delivering messages across a wide spectrum of individuals having varying degrees of technical understanding

• Leadership skills and qualities which enable you to work with peers and various levels of managements (PMP )

• Microsoft Office Proficient (Excel, Word, Outlook, Visio, PowerPoint, Access, etc.)

• Quick learner and self starter

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
