Position Summary:

Work from your Denver home office in coordination with a team of 13 based out of Portland, Oregon to achieve various efficient and effective membership services as well as provide client support functions to members and prospects of a property and casualty insurance/Alternative Risk Financing program administered by McGriff.

Position Description:

This position requires strong verbal and written communications skills, professional demeanor, and extremely high levels of organization. It requires good business writing skills and the natural ability to multi-task. The ideal candidate is adaptable, ready to listen, and able to absorb feedback into their work. You should be exceptionally detail oriented, helping us sweat the big stuff and the small stuff. Lastly, you should come ready to learn as much as you can about our business and our clients.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Client Relations

 - Participate in regional seminars, workshops, and conferences

 - Timely communication with association, membership, and other Pool administrators

 - Provide management reports and analysis to association, members, and other Pool administrators

 - Participate in Annual Educational Strategic Planning Seminar

 - Review and explain insurance industry concepts

Membership

 - Review and explain coverage concepts to district Boards, managers, and staff

 - Work with brokers to explain Pool philosophy/coverage, program, and services

 - Communicate our long-term risk partnership solution

 - Work with team to deliver timely stewardship report to 20% of our members

 - Visit members to understand their operations, review their exposures and recommend how our risk management services can help lower their Total Cost of Risk

Loss Control

 - Discuss with Members their loss prevention needs to coordinate services with loss prevention

Claims

 - Work with team, legal and TPA to evaluate coverage and answer questions on individual claims

 - Review and analyze monthly, quarterly, and year-end claim for application of solutions

 - Be a claim advocate for Agents and Members as appropriate

 - Help team to create loss reports/runs in vendor software systems as needed

Pool Marketing and Member Communication

 - Develop membership marketing strategies to build member loyalty

 - Assist in compilation of newsletter articles to help facilitate Pools mission

 - Review Pool competitors and communicate to members for continual improvements in coverage, services, and pricing methodology

 - Membership cross-selling and purchase of increased limits as appropriate

 - Attend member district association conferences to demonstrate support for each type of entity the Pool

represents

-Prospect Sales & Member Services

Website

 - Contribute appropriate content information for Pool and SDA websites

 - Review for proper content, ease of navigation, look, and feel

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree

A high level of organization

Exceptional writing and editing ability

An extremely strong attention to detail
