Job Description:

This role is a servant leader, who is responsible for optimizing the flow of stories and the value delivered by one or more Scrum teams. Key responsibilities include coordinating and facilitating Scrum ceremonies, managing dependencies for the team, providing visibility into team delivery plans and progress, and enabling continuous improvement within the team. This role ensures the impediments are resolved quickly, the team follows their agreed-to processes, and that there is a good relationship between the Product Owner and the development team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide and coach a team on Scrum practices.

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (for example, Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Demos/Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives).

• In a Scaled Agile model, facilitate scaled planning for the team (for example, Pre Planning/ Preparation and PI Planning Events) and represent the team in Scrum of Scrums/ART Syncs.

• Help the team define norms/agreements, like a Definition of Ready and Definition of Done, and enforce the agreements.

• Ensure the team has a healthy product and Sprint backlog (in collaboration with the PO).

• Facilitate dependency management/risk management/impediment removal for the team.

• Promote/facilitate communication and collaboration within the Agile team to support value delivery and Sprint commitments.

• Provide visibility into the Agile team's delivery plans and progress against plan to stakeholders.

• Measure team delivery, maturity, and performance and review the metrics with the team to identify improvement opportunities.

• Work under guidance and mentorship from senior Scrum Masters or Agile Coaches.

Required Skills:

• Demonstrable experience of Scrum Management

• Experience implementing Scrum theory, rules and practices

• Ability to remain in scope and deliver outcomes on time

• History of organization and facilitation skills, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines

• Management experience and hands-on technical expertise in leading large scale agile projects

• History of leading, influence and drive team efforts and results

• Strong analytical skills

• Experience working in Agile development process and deep understanding of various phases of Software Development Life Cycle

• Excellent written oral communication and presentation skills

• Able to work independently with limited supervision

Desired Skills:

• Rally, JIRA, or TFS experience

• High level understanding of BAC Enterprise Change Standards
