Job Description:
  • Full-time professional Information Technology Project Development experience and/or Function/Business

Job Responsibilities:
  • Translate high-level business requirements into functional and non-functional specifications and manage changes to the specifications in the documentation
  • Analyze and document required data and system information
  • Create development ready work items (user stories)
  • Create traceability of work items back to project road map
  • Untangle dependencies in order to place items properly on the backlog
  • Create application class diagrams and process/workflow diagrams
  • Identify process issues
  • Document risk and relationships
  • Analyze and document other required data and information by partnering with data analysts
  • Reverse engineer application code to document (interfaces, functionality, etc)
  • Perform Analysis of various Windows Servers, DB Servers, FTP Servers etc and overall Architecture
  • Analysis of Current State Vs Future State technical architecture and produce deliverables in diagrams
  • Identify various Dependencies and documenting those
  • Perform Security Analysis
  • Acting as liaison between business stakeholders, such as executive teams, Agency users or public users, and the software development or infrastructure teams.
  • Analyzing and communicating stakeholder needs by translating business requirements into software requirements.
  • Documenting and evaluating required data and information.
  • Using modeling, testing and data models to improve the flow of information through an organization to enhance project success.
  • Perform analysis of legacy and modernization systems and processes, then provide analysis of impacts and risks
  • Advise on the best way to transform and integrate required data into modified source database structures required to support a modernized application
  • Analyze and identify risks associated with bug workarounds that impact the application and database by partnering with data analyst
  • Contribute toward root cause analysis of application and data related defects
  • Responsible for identifying and testing bridges between legacy and modernized application elements/structures.
  • Support integrated testing of interfaces and validation of application mapping as well as activities conducted during pre-go-live and post go-live activities

Skills Required:
  • Full-time professional Information Technology Project Development experience and/or Function/Business Process Analysis with at least
  • one (1) year of experience in an Administrative; Managerial; or Supervisory capacity.
  • May require a degree and at least 9 years of experience in the field. Substitutions:
  • Accredited college training may substitute for the required work experience, except for the supervisory experience, with a maximum substitution of four (4) years. (Fifteen (15) semester hours in Information Technology or a related area is required.)
  • Accredited graduate training in the above area may substitute for the required work experience, except for the supervisory experience, with a maximum substitution of two (2) years.
  • Successfully completion of an Information Technology Certification program, may substitute for the required work experience with a maximum substitution of two (2) years.
  • (Proof of certification must accompany application.) Two (2) years of work experience as a Project Manager-Senior ; Quality Assurance Manager ; Project Manager- Intermediate may substitute for all of the required experience.
