IT Support Technician (Part-Time up to 32 hours/week) MUST BE CURRENTLY ENROLLED IN HIGHER EDUCATION PROGRAM TO BE ELIGIBLE

We have some IT Support technician positions available. This role will assist with operations of our IT Help Desk onsite at the Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, Colorado.

Scope of Responsibilities:

Providing customer service and technical support to users

Providing basic user training

Lifting and transporting equipment to work areas on a walking campus

Setting up new computers, printers, laptops and other IT devices

Help to maintain department equipment inventory

Other tasks as assigned

Required Qualifications:

Desire to work with people and technology

Excellent Customer Service and organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and attention to detail

Excellent verbal interpersonal skills

Ability to take direction and to work independently

Desktop publishing and documentation skills

Enthusiasm to learn new skills

Ability to lift 45 pounds

Must be a student who can provide documented proof of current class enrollment

Demonstrable experience with Windows 7 - 10 ; Office 2010-2016; PCs, laptops, tablets, smart phones and other peripheral devices

Desired Qualifications:

Apple Macintosh and iOS use experience

Advanced knowledge and experience with computer repair and support

Excellent customer service skills and troubleshooting experience in the IT field

Working schedule is flexible and to be determined during the hours of 7-5 Monday through Friday. No weekends.
