Laptop Repair/Refurbish Technician

We're a small, fast growing Denver start-up seeking help in our Computer Repair/Refurbishment Department!

Working Hours: 9am - 5pm (Flexible) M-F with occasional Saturdays

Pay Rate: $15 - $18/hr based on experience

Responsibilities: As a Computer Technician, it is your responsibility to ensure that products needed for customer orders are completed to the proper configuration; in the time allowed for each order worked. This involves hands-on knowledge of the internal and external components of PC and Mac laptop/desktop computers and all Windows/OSX operating systems. Experience with other small electronics such as tablets and phones are a plus.

Order Management and On-Time Completion

- Computer Technicians need to be able to assign themselves orders via the order management system and allot the proper amount of time needed to complete those orders.

- All orders taken must be completed by the 'must-ship' date.

Part Check Out/Check In

- All parts needed for orders are to be checked out with the front desk in inventory or via the parts check-out ticket system.

- All unused parts or partial use parts are to be returned to the front desk in inventory.

Work Area Cleanliness and Structure

- Work areas are to be cleaned on a daily basis and the shared work space is to be kept free of debris/parts and organized at all times.

- Follow all safety procedures and address any needs there-in immediately with the tech supervisor or the management team.

As Needed

- A Computer Technician can be tasked with other duties by the tech supervisor or management as business needs change. In the event that a new task will cause risk to a computer technician's core responsibilities, that task should be discussed with the tech supervisor or management after its submission to make sure it is worth pursuing.

Skills Needed

- 2-4 years of experience with internal/external computer hardware and computer software.

- Excellent time management.

- A desire to learn in a working environment.
