Responsibilities:

Lead and direct numerous large crews providing the following fire and smoke damage services in residential, commercial, institutional, and industrial settings:

-Dry and wet pre-cleaning mitigationÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂ -Dry and wet final cleaning procedures

-Moving & re-setting contentsÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂ -Non-structural demolition & debris removal

-Non-structural demolition & debris removalÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂ-Temporary roof covers, including shrink wrap

-Manage high risk/high exposure complex project conditions

-Constructing polyethylene enclosures (containment)

Lead and direct personnel in the following activities:

-Vehicle safety and maintenance inspectionsÂÂÂÂÂÂÂ

-Maintaining vehicles in clean serviceable condition

-Maintaining equipment

-Complete accident, injury, & incident reporting forms

-Attend sponsored operations and safety training courses

-Other duties as assigned

-Qualifications and Requirements

-Possess sense of urgency, professional demeanor, positive attitude, and strong work ethic

-Frequent lifting in excess of 50 lbs.

-Sustained periods of standing, walking, bending, and kneeling

-Access and mobility in tight spaces

-Eligible to operate a motor vehicle per vehicle policy

-Minimum of two years' experience in fire and smoke damage services

-Satisfactory completion of OSHA Construction 30 hour course

-Valid EPA Lead Certified Renovator license

-Ability to identify potential site hazards (asbestos, lead paint, mold, etc.)

-Awareness of structural degradation from smoke particulate, chlorides, water, etc.

-Experience with site-specific safety plans

-Experience operating vehicles up to 26,000 GVW and operating truck-trailer combinations

-Knowledgeable of DOT requirements

-Competency to direct and supervise mix of construction tradesmen and skilled and unskilled work crews

Working knowledge of restoration industry best fire damage practices, including:

-Fire & smoke damage restorationÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂ -Structural deodorization

-Approved fire damage trainingÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂ Â -Characterizing fire residue

-Determining fire residue migrationÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂ -Test cleaning

-Establishing cleaning & deodorization methodsÂÂ -Equipment specification and application

Read blueprints and floor plan drawings

Knowledge of temporary power sizing and set up

Attention to detail and keen sense of safeguarding other people's property

Familiarity with chemical products including use, disposal, and Material Safety Data Sheets

Willing to work nights and weekends when requested

Periodic travel
