We’re looking for a skilled HVAC Mechanical Worker / Technician with hands-on experience in refrigeration systems and flammable refrigerants. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-minded, and capable of working independently on complex piping and refrigeration installations.
Responsibilities:
Install, repair, and maintain HVAC and refrigeration systems using flammable refrigerants (R-290, R-600a, etc.).
Work with piping systems, with proficiency in ¾-inch copper pipe brazing, flaring, and joining.
Assemble and tie refrigeration units into chase systems while ensuring leak-free, code-compliant connections.
Follow all safety protocols and regulatory standards for handling and charging flammable refrigerants.
Collaborate with other trades to ensure proper system layout and integration.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3–5 years of HVAC mechanical or refrigeration experience.
Proven experience working with flammable refrigerants.
Strong piping and mechanical skills (¾-inch pipe proficiency required).
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics.
EPA Section 608 Certification (Type I & II or Universal) preferred.
Safety-focused and dependable with strong attention to detail.
Compensation: $55+
