Full-time stable hand position open in Arvada at a smaller high-end 11 stall stable.
Qualities/skills: Strong & capable; healthy; physically able to carry out labor intensive tasks and do some heavy lifting 55+ lbs. Knowledge and experience handling horses, preferably, stable hand/groom experience. Attention to detail, organized, and tidy. Pride in job; works efficiently and effectively; can stay on task, follow directions well, and looking for a permanent long term position.
Duties: Loading/unloading 60 lb hay bales; moving 50lb grain bags; mucking 4 turnout areas, 11 indoor stalls with 55’ runs; use of ATV to dump manure to storage bins; use of tractor for moving shavings, hay bales and dragging indoor and outdoor arena; light repairs around barn and fencing; horse turnout; grooming; making custom grain recipes AM/PM; giving meds; feeding hay 3x/day; cleaning stable.
MUST have your own dependable car or truck to get to work. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Days & times: 5-6 days/wk; Day starts at 6AM

Optional housing on site available (not included in salary).
FT $850-1000+/wk salary depending on skill, experience, and time commitment.
