If this position may be interested to you, please email me back at somp767@kellyservices.com (with your most up to date resume in word format) and advise the best time and number at which you can be reached Job Title: Salesforce Marketing Cloud Specialist Location: REMOTE Length: 3 months Type of contract: W2 ONLY Pay Rate - Open for discussion Description: The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Specialist is a key member of the Marketing Technology team which will join a fast-paced environment where they will be responsible for supporting an integrated, digital deliver strategy across Transamerica Individual Solutions. This role will engage with customers to build differentiating channel capabilities and bring together an exceptional experience across Retail Investment and Insurance business lines. The role will hold responsibility for the execution of the organization's Marketing Cloud programs and technical maintenance of the platform by:

  • Developing and carrying out marketing programs that use Email Studio, Advertising Studio, Web Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio and some custom integrations
  • Lead ongoing Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform health, solve system errors and provide user support for a large enterprise
  • Supervise deliverability reputation across email clients
  • Drive email template design, improvements, usability/accessibility testing and documentation
  • Use HTML, AMPscript and WYSIWYG editors to build email templates, content modules and cloud pages
  • Use journey data extensions, data filters and SQL activities to build campaign audiences
  • Build advanced, multi-touch journeys and configure decision, random, and engagement splits
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews and other activities to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of campaign deployments
  • Monitor ongoing campaigns and troubleshoot errors
  • Maintain standard operating procedures including naming conventions, folder structures, campaign standards
  • Handle integrations with other platforms (ex: DAM, CRM, Ad Channels, etc.)
  • Maintain user profiles and attestation as required by regulators and internal audit
Additionally, the candidate must possess the following skills:
  • A strong foundation in customer experience
  • Ability to simplify highly complex communications
  • Ability to identify project risks and present alternatives to alleviate or resolve issues
  • Ability to run discussions with line of business stakeholders and product owners
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to be nimble and flexible in a fast-paced environment
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud/ExactTarget
  • Experience working with Marketing Cloud data extensions, SQL queries and AMPScript
  • Experience documenting customer problems and software solutions using BRDs, wireframes, diagrams, workflows and mockups
  • Familiarity w/ Salesforce.com
  • Experience with the Agile methodology
  • Bachelor's degree required
Associated Digital/Development Experience:
  • 5+ years experience with HTML, XML, and CSS (JavaScript a plus)
  • Salesforce product certification Marketing Cloud will be a plus
