- Defining the product backlog, and technical roadmap needed to support the business initiative.
- Creating actionable user stories for development teams with goal of delivering on product and program strategy.
- Partnering closely with Manager over Architecture to ensure that the product vision and critical technical roadmap milestones are met.
- Fulfilling a leadership role in a Scrum team by providing clarification on user stories, objectives, and priorities while also motivating the team to GSD (Get Stuff Done).
- Partnering closely with our legal, compliance, security, and risk teams to ensure that we are delivering a product that meets all legal and compliance requirements.
- Partnering closely with our Architecture team to ensure that we are delivering a product that meets all our architecture standards and requirements.
- Developing a deep understanding of our physician customers (both existing and potential), our patients (who have numerous high-cost, complex chronic conditions), and broader healthcare ecosystem
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams in business, product, design, and engineering
- Working closely with automation and performance engineers and QA Manager for ensuring right business vision is implemented
- Managing business vision working closely with Project Managers across the delivery lane
- A bachelor's degree
- 4+ years of product experience in an Agile environment and focused on web + mobile products and technologies
- 2-3 years of experience serving as a Product Owner
- Ideal candidate will have exposure as a Product Owner to some of the following technologies: Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices Architecture, Cloud based technologies, Mobile (iOS and/or Android)
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational and analytical skills with the ability to evolve product strategy based on research, data and industry trends
- Entrepreneurial drive and an ability to thrive in an organization that changes quickly
- Demonstrated ability to easily build expertise in unfamiliar domains and achieve stretch goals in an innovative environment
- Experience working in an Agile/SAFE Agile model
- Experience with one or more of the following technologies: Java, Spring, Microservices and Cloud based technologies
- Working experience with Automation and Performance engineers or related tools like LoadRunner, Load Ninja, Selenium, Appium or Katalon
- Experience in building healthcare-related products
- Experience working in a highly regulated industry and/or working with legal and compliance teams
- Exceptional presentation skills, as the team likes to show off their work, tell stories, and articulate the problems they have solved or how they improved the physician/patient experience
- Familiarity or experience with SAFe
- Experience in building a product from the ground up
- Experience as a Developer, technical Lead or Architect is preferred and would be helpful
