Web Application Developer

COLDFUSION DEVELOPERApplicant must reside in ColoradoHybrid schedule - One day a week in officeDuties/Responsibilities:Maintaining and updating existing application codeCreating new web application pagesIntegrate ColdFusion web pages with REST APIsPlan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard applications using accepted industry practices and/ or organizational policiesOperates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problemsContributes to deliverables and performance metrics, where applicablePrototype and demonstrate solutions as necessaryEnsuring responsiveness of applicationsEnsures compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards; software licenses; and applicable state and federal laws and regulations including data security, privacy, and intellectual property laws.Maintains current knowledge of best practices and emerging developments in web design, web development, and technology.Performs other related duties as assigned.Required Skills/Abilities:At least 4 years Adobe ColdFusion application development (ColdFusion Builder and/or Eclipse)Experience working with JAVA or any modern object oriented languageProficiency with web technologies (HTML/CSS/JS)Experience with GitStrong analytical and critical thinking skillsProficiency with Restful APIsFamiliarity with SQL database technology such as MySQL, Microsoft SQL, and DB2.Education and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field required.Equivalent progressive professional experience may be substituted for education experience.Physical Requirements:Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
