Hope Therapy Center has an exciting opportunity for an individual who wants to be part of an experienced occupational and physical therapy team.
The Physical Therapy Assistant will be responsible for implementing physical therapy treatments to address patients needs. Candidate should be comfortable providing aquatic guidance alongside clients in a therapeutic, 93 degree pool.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Implement plan of care under PT supervision, using appropriate physical therapy modalities and treatment approaches in an outpatient clinic setting.
Participate in conferences with patient, family, and rehabilitation team members when appropriate.
Complete daily clinical notes and super bills at the close of each treatment day.
Provide patient with written and verbal instructions regarding any home exercise or activity programs.
Assist with and contribute to an evaluation of patients progress and current level of functioning.
Assist with preventive maintenance of therapy equipment.
Assist in keeping all therapy supplies in stock and in appropriate therapy areas.
Qualifications:
Graduation from an approved physical therapy assistant or physical therapy program.
Must be licensed in the state of Colorado.
