Live life at the top!DescriptionEmployee who under direct supervision performs duties related to the crushing and conveying process.Assist with and perform routine inspections on crushing and conveying systems
Monitor transfer chutes and belt systems
Assist with and perform the changing of rollers along the conveyor system
May assist with and perform the changing of screen panels and cleaning of tripper decks
May assist maintenance personnel in performing equipment maintenance activities on large ore processing equipment such as crushing, conveying, agglomerations and stacking systems
May use online electronic process monitoring system to monitor conveyor and plant systems
May assist with and perform regular work area or safety audits
Operate mobile equipment such as skid-steer loaders, dump trucks, front-end loaders, overhead cranes, and forklifts
Perform area housekeeping duties
Perform other duties as required
QualificationsMinimum QualificationsThree (3) months of experience in an industrial environment
PreferredHigh School diploma or GED
Criteria/ConditionsAbility to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures given in English
Ability to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standards
Must be able to work in a potentially stressful environment
Work is performed in a mine or manufacturing plant setting, which may include exposure to extremes in temperature and humidity, moving mechanical parts, risk of electrical shock, toxic chemicals, explosives, fumes or airborne particles
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs and ladders, and work on elevated platforms
Occasionally may be required to lift up to fifty (50) pounds during the course of the work day
May be required to work a non-standard schedule which may include shift work (other than day shift) in a 24/7/365 operation
Personal protective equipment is required when performing work in a mine, outdoor, manufacturing or plant environment, including hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, rubber steel-toe boots, protective clothing, gloves and any other protective equipment as required
