.NET Development Manager on a Direct Hire basis for our client in Englewood, CO.SummaryWe are seeking a .NET Development Manager to join a growing team. This individual will be part of an Agile/Scrum development team, building and working on enterprise grade software systems on top of the Microsoft .NET development stack. They will provide coaching, guidance, and industry knowledge to the developers ensuring successful completion of projects. Responsibilities- Work very closely with the business leaders to ensure development efforts are properly prioritized and that requirements for projects are clearly defined.
- Provide coaching and guidance to the development team (includes mentoring, communicating job expectations, reviews, deliverables, performance monitoring, procedures, and standards, and providing feedback).
- Communicate cross-functionally across various teams, ensuring clear communication between developers and stakeholders to drive development efforts.
- Understand the scope and needs of the business, contribute technically to projects via hands-on implementation, code reviews, and lead assigned projects to fruition.
- Support project with the best practice, risk mitigation, and issue resolution. Work with the developers to assess the impact of all changes to the platform.
- Build and work on enterprise-grade software systems on top of the Microsoft .NET development stack.
- Strong process and project management skills, allowing focus and successful multi-tasking in a dynamic environment on multiple software development projects.
- Work collaboratively with team members and cross-functional team to perform impact analysis and root cause analysis.
- Assist with the design, develop, test and support of a suite of applications ranging from web applications, windows services, WCF services, and thick clients.
- Be the .NET development subject matter expert for the team and have strategic influence.
- 5+ years of hands-on technical leadership and management experience with internal staff and external vendors.
- Experience with Web technologies such as ASP.NET MVC, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- C#, .Net, and WPF experience along with strong object-oriented analysis and design understanding.
- Solid understanding of design patterns and SOLID principles
- Experience with Entity Framework, LINQ to SQL, NHibernate or other OR/M
- Database design and development (Microsoft SQL Server)
- Experience with concurrent development source control and continuous integration
- Passion for technology and knowledge
- Experience with applications on Microsoft Azure Cloud Platform
- Bachelor’s degree preferred. Preferred certifications: C#, .Net, WPF
- Experience with Web Services, WCF and Service Oriented Architecture is preferred
- Mobile application development (iOS and Android), Unit Testing (NUnit), IoC/DI containers (StructureMap/Ninject/Unity) and/or Jira experience is preferred.
