Project Scope: Our client has an immediate need for a Network Architect with the following skills and experience: Responsibilities:- Manage, maintain, and update the client's networking environment
- Advise on best practices to ensure firewalls and VPNs are configured accordingly
- Proactively look for and remove areas of weakness and find solutions to problems
- Oversee activities of vendors in all phases of installation, implementation, and training of network systems
- Stay up to date on technologies that may improve the efficiency and effectiveness to support the company's mission and values
- Direct supervision of the telecommunications engineer
- Coordinate with outsourced Service Desk team and network engineers for critical issues
- Minimum 5 years of network engineering experience required
- Experience with network security best practices
- Proven track record of effectively leading, supporting, and implementing large networking projects
- Problem analysis and resolution at both a strategic and functional level
- Unwavering commitment to quality program and a passion for customer service; ability to understand the customer
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administrations, Computer Science, or related field preferred
