Must-haves:

Bachelor's of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline and typically 6 or more years of relevant experience
Demonstrated knowledge of engineering principles and practices
Experience with Computer Aided Engineering tools
Experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams
Experience with aviation electrical (power, RF, communications/data, etc) design, fabrication, and repair methods for military and/or commercial aircraft
Experience with design of 28VDC and three-phase 115VAC 400Hz power distribution/conversion/controls
Familiar with Electro Magnetic Effects (EME) to include, Electro Magnetic Compatibility (EMC) and Electro Magnetic Interference (EMI)
Familiar with standard interface protocols (Ethernet, RS232, RS422, RS485, MIL-STD-1553, ARINC 429)
Proficiency in AS50881 drawing standards and practices including the development of "production level" technical data packages (Level 3 TDP)
Wire Harness Design experience
The ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance may be required. Learn more about the background check process for Security Clearances

Preferred:

Exposure to simulations through functional and logical models and system analysis
Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry
Experience composing and analyzing Electrical Load Analyses (ELAs)
Familiarity with design requirements related to High Intensity Radiated Field (HIRF) and Indirect Effects of Lightning (IEL)
Knowledge of current MIL-STD-461, EMI/EMC
Knowledge of industry-standard electrical design principles, to include, but not limited to model-based definition, electrical component selection, manufacturing, and production processes
Experience with FAA and/or Military Certification processes and requirements
Experience with MATLAB, PLM, ECAD (AutoCad, Zuken E3, Catia)

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $101,774.67 - $139,940.19
