Find your future with us.Boeing Network Infrastructure Team is currently looking for one Network Designer to join their team in Englewood, Colorado . This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Global Services (BGS) business organization.A successful candidate will contribute as a network designer and solutions architect to technical implementations and business projects, collaborate with the global network teams to work out solutions and provide remote and hands-on support for maintenance and break/fix work to the Network infrastructure services.Position Responsibilities:Manage network devices and services in the U.S. Datacenter in Englewood, Colorado

Analyze, identify and document requirements for network service implementations

Design network solutions conform to company guidelines and security standards

Coordinate and execute the implementation, maintenance and upgrade of Network solutions with the Team and Stakeholders

Provide network solutions to support business needs

Monitor network solutions performance and health with company provided tools

Identify opportunities, analyze problems in depth, and relate and compare data from different sources.

Demonstrates the Boeing Behaviors in a deliberate and observable way

Hybrid role with occasional on-site work 2 to 3 days a week.The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):2+ years of experience in a dedicated Network Designer or Network Support Administration role

1+ year of experience with Firewalls and Load Balancers support

Experience using or applying problem solving on physical hardware equipment

On call with 1-hour notice, For break/fix situations the candidate needs to commute to the Datacenter within one-hour time.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):1+ year of experience with F5 Load Balancer hardware and support

1+ year of experience with Cisco ASA or Palo Alto Firewall

Experience with Cisco Nexus 9k or Cisco Catalyst switches would be a plus

Experience with Cisco ASR/ISR Routers would be a plus

Typical Education & Experience:Technical bachelor’s degree and typically 5 or more years’ related work experience or a Master’s degree with typically 3 or more years’ or a PhD degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study.Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
