- Knowledge of provisioning and activation would be plus
- Prior Release management experience
- Basic knowledge of github, Jenkins and other version control and deployment tools.
- Knowledge of remedy and Cherwell
- Knowledge of tools for project management (Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, Microsoft office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Visio) is must)
- Ability to push back releases if not ready.
- Working with Development and Deployment teams for prioritization, scheduling and deployment of changes to preproduction and production environments.
- Analyzing requests for conflicts with other changes going in ecosystem.
- Hosting Stand up with deployment teams
- Creating Change request in remedy and working with change management team for approvals'
- Manage internal release communications to all release stakeholders.
- Working with deployment support teams and ensuring their readiness on the night of release.
- Conduct Release Readiness, Milestone, and Go/No-Go reviews
- Creating deployment night implementation plans
- Ability to host working sessions and get release issues resolved. Strong sense of responsibility – willing to take ownership of issues
- Tracking release requests in Jira
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced and adhoc technical environment
- Supporting deployments over-night and on weekends as and when needed
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills; Strong written skills
